Privacy Policy
Your information deserves care.
Last updated: October 9, 2026
This policy describes how RC Horowitz & Company, Inc. handles information provided by research participants, prospective participants, and clients. Study-specific notices and project agreements provide additional details for individual studies.
Health-related information is also covered by our separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
Participant information
The initial profile request asks only for basic contact details: your email address and, on some versions of the form, your name, phone number, and ZIP code. Send the request to participate@rchorowitz.com. Our team will follow up by email or phone, which may include a secure link to provide or update your profile information.
Depending on the study, profile and screening questions may ask about contact details, location, demographics, professional background, product use, health conditions, treatments, or caregiving experience. The information requested depends on the audience and study requirements.
We use participant information to match people with studies, assess eligibility, communicate about participation, coordinate sessions, and arrange incentive payments. We do not sell your personal information.
Health-related answers are treated as confidential. We explain how study information will be used before you agree to participate. Use the profile link provided by our team for detailed personal information rather than including health information in an initial email request.
If a session involves recording or additional information collection, the study details and consent materials explain those activities before you decide to participate.
Client inquiries and sample lists
The client inquiry form asks for your name, company, email address, optional phone number, and study details. We use that information to respond to your inquiry, discuss your study and pricing, and coordinate the work you request.
Client-provided sample lists are used for the assigned study and handled according to the project agreement, including requirements for access, return, and deletion. Please arrange sample transfer with your project manager rather than pasting respondent information into the inquiry form.
Retention and protection
Retention depends on the type of record, the purpose for keeping it, the relevant project agreement, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. Profile information, inquiry correspondence, study records, and payment records may have different retention periods. Contact us for the details that apply to your information.
Client sample return and deletion requirements are set out in the project agreement. Contact your project manager with questions about study close-out.
No website or communication method can guarantee absolute security. If you have a question about a profile link or how to transfer sensitive information, contact our team before sending it.
Your choices and requests
You can decline a study invitation, ask to update your profile, or ask us to stop sending study invitations. You can also contact us to request access to or deletion of your information.
We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Some records may need to be retained for payment, project, or legal requirements. We will explain any applicable limits when responding to your request.
Send participant requests to participate@rchorowitz.com. For other privacy questions, use info@rchorowitz.com.
Text messages
If you give us a mobile number and agree to be contacted, RC Horowitz & Company may send you text messages about your profile, study invitations, scheduling, reminders, and incentives. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. You can also call (212) 779-3633 or email participate@rchorowitz.com. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of joining the panel or taking part in a study.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Service providers that deliver our messages may process your number only to send them on our behalf.
Website forms, cookies, and external services
The forms on this website prepare a message in your email app. Entering information alone does not send it to RC Horowitz; you must send the prepared email. This website does not itself issue a secure profile link.
This version of the website does not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or browser cookies. Website hosting and email services may process technical information needed to deliver their services, such as connection details and timestamps. Our participant profile and client portals at update.focusgroupmanager.com are part of RC Horowitz's services and follow this policy; signing in to the client portal uses your Microsoft account.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. This website does not track visitors over time or across other websites, and it does not allow other companies to collect information about your online activity through it. Because there is no tracking to turn off, the website works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Changes to this policy
Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. Review the policy and the relevant study notice when providing new information or agreeing to a study.
